WACO — This weekend, crews will close the Leon River Bridge on SH 236 near Mother Neff Park for concrete barrier removal. A full closure of the bridge will be in place both Saturday, September 9 and the next day.
Signage is in place to advertise the closure. The closure and work are part of TxDOT’s project to replace the bridge and its approaches. Motorists are encouraged to utilize SH 36, FM 1829 and FM 107 during the closure.
