ROAD OVERLAY — SH 36 — CORYELL COUNTY

WACO — This Monday, February 19, crews will start a road overlay project on SH 36 from US 84 to FM 931 in Flat. Improvement of the existing roadway will include mill and inlay operations for surface restoration. This will enhance safety of the road and improve driver experience. As part of the overlay operations, there will be various lane closures conducted throughout the duration of the project. The $8.9-million-dollar project is scheduled to complete by spring 2025.
TxDOT encourages motorists to slow down, eliminate distractions, and buckle up driving through work zones.
