TxDOT SEEKS INPUT ON THE I-35 IMPROVEMENTS FROM BELTON TO TEMPLE
A virtual public meeting with an in-person option will be held to collect feedback and share information about community and environmental resources within the project area that need to be considered.

April 30, 2024

WACO – The Texas Department of Transportation will host a virtual public meeting with an in-person option for the proposed I-35 improvements from Belton to Temple to accommodate the future I-14 extension. TxDOT will share information about the project and provide opportunities for community members to ask questions and share input on it.

These improvements will create better mobility, connectivity and safety between urban and rural areas, military installations, maritime ports and economic sectors, including freight, energy, timber and agriculture. The limits of the I-14 Extension project along I-35 (also referred to as “Segment 1”) are from Loop 121 in Belton to Loop 363/US 190/SH 36 in Temple. This corridor is part of a larger project that will extend I-14 from Belton, TX, to BU 190 in Rogers, TX, comprising a total of three segments.
