TxDOT Waco District Traffic Counts

Beginning Monday, November 7 – Thursday, December 1, 2022

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will be collecting short-term traffic counts at 2,100 locations throughout TxDOT’s Waco District (includes Bell County and Coryell County) beginning on Monday, November 7, 2022 and continuing through Thursday, December 1, 2022.

These counts will be used to calculate an Average Annual Daily Traffic (AADT) rate which will provide information to support local transportation projects and planning activities.

Please be aware of any road tubes (small, black lines) or mounted cameras you see during the time frame mentioned above.
