Public Notice 2022 FCR Listening Session
FHWA and FTA will be holding a listening session on Wednesday, May 25 to receive comments from the public regarding the regional transportation planning process. More information can be found in the link above.
Background: Every 4 years the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) must certify that each metropolitan planning organization (MPO) serving a transportation management area (TMA) is carrying out the metropolitan planning process in adherence with federal statutes and regulations. This review is jointly conducted by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the Federal Highways Administration (FHWA).

Members of the public may submit comments in person during our meetings, hearings, workshops, and other scheduled events. Contact KTMPO staff prior to the event in order to sign up. Please limit comments to 3 minutes. No discussion or final action will be taken by the Board.
