Freeway Closures — I-14 — Bell County
Sept. 23, 2022 Beginning Monday night, September 26, TxDOT’s contractor will begin week-long paving operations on I-14. Operations will require various nightly lane closures. All closures will occur nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning through next Friday morning.
Closures include:
9/26: I-14 westbound inside mainlane from FM 1670 (Stillhouse Hollow Dam Road) to Simmons Road.
9/27-9/30: I-14 westbound outside mainlane from FM 1670 (Stillhouse Hollow Dam Road) to Simmons Road; westbound off-ramp to Simmons Road and westbound on-ramp from George Wilson Road also closed.
TxDOT encourages motorists to slow down, eliminate distractions and pay attention in work zones and school zones.
