I-35 Exit 306 to close Tuesday night

Tonight, on I-35 North, Exit 306 to FM 1237 (Pendleton Road) between Temple and Troy will close at 7PM.  This work means that one of the northbound main lanes will be closed overnight. The new off-ramp will serve FM 935 – Main Street in Troy, and provide access to Love’s Boulevard. Drivers needing to access FM 1237/Pendleton Rd. on the west side of I-35 can use exit 308, travel north to the new crossing and turn around. They may also choose to use Exit 303 in Temple.

The new Exit 308 will open about a mile south of the old exit. While the new off-ramp is being constructed, crews will open a temporary off-ramp. This temporary ramp is expected to open before Christmas. The work zone will also see a switch of northbound traffic onto new pavement in the main lanes of I-35 between Spur 290 and FM 1237. Signs will be posted to help drivers navigate the new ramp configurations.
